First Class Women

This is something that almost never happens.

While flying alone to Flag and Banner’s North Miami office, the flight attendant pointed out all the seats in first class were occupied by women. Now granted, it was not a very big plane, an American Eagle. But still, I felt kind of proud and thought maybe my blog of last week was a little paranoid, but maybe not. For in my lifetime, we have come a long way, baby. Women with money traveling alone … Lenny Kravitz says it best: “American Woman.”

I had a big desire to take a picture of all the ladies, but I thought better of it. Etiquette says you should ask permission before posting strangers’ pics online. And, not to dish on my own gender, but womenfolk can be kinda testy

So, I acquiesced and decided to brag about the experience without taking anyone’s picture. I asked my graphics department to reproduce the same airplane’s seating arrangement with fake people facing the cockpit (I had to get that word in somewhere).

As they say in flight school … This is a simulation.
