Well, I can’ t seem to stop spending my children’s inheritance.
Like I said in an earlier blog post, I keep jumping off buildings and building my wings on the way down. And so, it happened again this week.
My newest wild hair has been to shrink the FlagandBanner.com showroom even more and expand the Dreamland Lounge.
Fulfilling my Guests’ Requests
Since our soft opening of the Dreamland Lounge last Spring, I’ve been listening to what our guests have to say. The feedback has been encouraging and inspiring. I’ve absolutely loved catching up with old friends and employees that have stopped by for a visit and some libations.
The most common requests have been for live music, a karaoke night, a mahjong game night, a piano, and a private party room. This got me thinking.
To accommodate, I have once again carved out more space from the showroom to create a multi-purpose room for the lounge. Now I am trying to come up with the perfect name for this new room. Something that fits both the history of the Taborian Hall building and Dreamland’s mission.
Here’s hoping this new space fulfills some of our guest requests, and maybe, just maybe replenish the savings account I’ve been joyfully and enthusiastically spending one renovation at a time.
