A Christmas to Remember

Like everything in my Libra life, there is the constant balancing of the scales. Before Christmas, I worked hard; during Christmas, I played hard; and afterwards, I crashed hard.

It was a Christmas to remember. We had the greatest gift of all, a new grandbaby who luckily filled the void of son Jack not being with us for the holidays. With record breaking low temperatures and sever weather across much of the United States, Jack and his fiancée were unable to drive home for our family Christmas and our annual Boxing Day party. Because of the poor weather, coupled with our Boxing Day party falling on a Monday, I estimated a low guest turnout for our day-after-Christmas get together.

Boy, was I wrong. We had a big crowd and a big sing-along of the 12 Days of Christmas. It was so much fun to see everyone and blend all our neighbors, family, old and new friends into one big par-tee!

Though I still love to party, I am not sure party still loves me. The day-after “crash” was certainly hard.

Happy New Year, Everyone. Remember to Fly Your Flag in 2023.
