A “girl’s girl” is not a usual descriptor for me. But, one night a month I am just that, as I hang out with friends at Girls Night Out (GNO). I have been dining with the same group of ladies for years, really decades. This one, in the above photo, I have known since 2nd grade: Kathleen Nowell-King.
Arising the morning after GNO and finding this picture in my phone library, I knew it had to be shared. Hence, today’s blog post.
Laughed and Learned
Now, I can’t just write a blog without a reason. My readers are my customers and, like every good salesperson (and Libra), I need a balance between writing for my psyche and feeding the reader. Thus, each week’s post aims to either make one ponder, learn, or just plain ole laugh-out-loud.
As a gluten free dieter, I learned last night that Nathan’s Hot Dogs have no wheat or skin casing, that you can buy gluten-free buns from Drug Emporium, and that, after having not had a hot dog in 10 years, they are delicious.
As for a laugh…well, you see the picture. Kathy ate the big weenie.
