Well, he did it again. For the second year in a row, P Allen Smith welcomed Little Rock’s Trinitas Choir and friends to his beautiful Moss Mountain Farm. Together, we celebrated the Winter Solstice with a crackling bonfire, tours his impeccably kept home and grounds, and music that filled the evening air with warmth and reverence.

I thought it gloomy when my mother once told a younger me, “We’re not meant to be happy all the time, so be grateful and enjoy the happiness, when you are.” I now understand what she meant; life is just a series of peaks and valleys.

Early in an entrepreneur’s career, they may find themselves wondering, “Is it worth it?” and “Where am I going?” To this I say, “Yes, it’s worth it” and “If you don’t hang in there, you’ll never find out.”
