We Won!

Wednesday night, the Arkansas Razorbacks basketball team played #6 Louisville, Kentucky and won!

You’ve heard me say over and over, I love being older. One reason is because without the expense and burden of schlepping kids, Grady and I can just pick up and go anytime we get a wild hair. We are like teenagers again.

This week, we took advantage of the slow season in the flag business and drove to Fayetteville to see our granddaughter. We treated her and her roommate to the Razorback HOG game. Their tickets were across the court from us in the nosebleed section, while Grady and I splurged on courtside seats. We were so close to Coach John Calipari, I could’ve hit him with a paper airplane. Watching the players’ expressions and hearing Coach Calipari shout out instructions and work the refs was so much FUN – and frankly inspiring – to see these young people’s dedication and discipline. I know I couldn’t have handled anything close to that kind of pressure at their age.

Arkansas Razorbacks Win!

I am happy to report that EVERYONE had a great time. So much so that the next morning, over coffee, we all talked statistics and my granddaughter and her roommate asked us to come back!

With fingers crossed, we may have created two brand-new Razorbacks Basketball Fans.

Go Hogs.
