This week as I pushed through the malaise of my cancer treatments, I heard the words of Amelia Earhart, “The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity.”
It was the second part of her quote that I had to force myself to remember: tenacity. My life has been a series of decision-making, risk-taking, and action. But when you feel poorly, as I do, it takes tenacity to fulfill your commitments and execute your earlier laid plans.
Being the Boss isn’t Always Easy
I used to say being the boss is the hardest job of all, but not today. As I write, I’m lying on the couch in my office. Ahhhh. Today is a day when it’s good to be the boss. I’m filled with gratitude as I ponder the notion that I might have had to quit another job or even been fired due to my low performance.
Hence, the short blog.
