This past week, I have laughed myself 10 years younger. It started during my Miami work week, when my daughter and granddaughter visited me at the beach for Spring Break. We did the usual things; dined on stone crabs, cruised South Beach, took an everglades tour, and went to Mai Kai, a tourist show of hula dancing ladies and fire throwing gents, all in grass skirts.
During the audience participation portion of the show, they grabbed my daughter Meghan. Always a good sport, she hopped on stage and started gyrating her hips to match her half-naked partner’s. The audience roared in laughter, and I almost wet my pants. I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time.
Back Home
On my first day back to work, I found in my Inbox our most recent and perfectly executed Flag Police commercial. Again, I laughed hysterically as I watched my three children’s satirical performance.
Stay tuned for more laughing, as I have a feeling there are more Flag Police commercials to come.
